Write for us
We welcome pitches that help readers think more clearly about introductions, preferences, conversation, expectations or matchmaking culture. Send proposals through the Contact page; an idea is welcome before a finished draft.
What makes a good pitch
A useful pitch names one clear question, explains the angle and says what a reader will understand or be able to consider afterward. Choose a focused subject rather than promising to cover matchmaking in general. Explain any important terms and keep claims proportionate to the support offered.
Topics and tone
We are interested in explainers, comparisons, thoughtful histories, myth checks and guides to ordinary conversations or decisions. Write plainly, treat people as individuals and avoid claiming that a single method can guarantee compatibility. Do not send private information about other people or present a personal account as universal proof.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page and select the editorial question option. Include a working title, a short summary, the proposed format and any relevant experience or sources you plan to draw on. Please send the pitch first rather than a complete unsolicited manuscript.
A match is an opening, not a verdict.
A profile or introduction can offer a starting point. The people involved decide what it means through conversation, attention and choice.
